Family plans: Add protection for adult family members
For privacy and security, adult family members must create and manage their own accounts. Once your adult family member creates their own account, they'll have a separate login, full control of our monitoring features, and access to view their own account activity at any time.
To send an invitation to an adult family member:
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on your user icon in the top right corner
3. Click on “Family”
4. Click on your family member’s profile and follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
Once you complete this process, your adult family member will receive an email inviting them to join your family. Once they accept the invitation, they will independently manage their account.

Can my adult family members access all the same features I have access to?
Once your adult family member(s) create their own account, they will have access to most of the features included in your plan directly from their personal account dashboard — which may include credit monitoring, dark web monitoring, and digital footprint monitoring. To use these features, they must activate them independently and set up their own monitoring preferences.
If your plan includes our cybersecurity features, however, your adult family members won't see this feature on their personal account dashboard; you must grant them access as the primary account holder. Here’s how:
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on the "Cybersecurity" tab on the left-hand side
3. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions. You'll have the option of sharing our cybersecurity tools with your adult family members, either through email or text.
I have Power of Attorney over an adult family member. Can I continue managing their account?
If you have Power of Attorney over an adult family member connected to your identity protection plan, you may continue managing their account. Contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible for further assistance. We’ll guide you through the next steps, which may include faxing a copy of the Power of Attorney form.
