Click install on the app page in the app store to download the AIP Password Manager app. Once the download completes, open the app and sign in.
Once you've installed the Password Manager, you'll need to set a strong master password. Click the "Save Master Password" button after you’ve read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
You will then receive a 24-digit recovery key. Copy your recovery key in a safe place and don’t lose it. The key is the only way to access the passwords saved in Password Manager, should you forget the master password set in the previous step. Click "Close" when you’re done.
For the app, create a 4-digit PIN, so if you switch to another app and back, you don’t have to re-enter your master password. If it’s available, you can also enable face recognition or fingerprint authentication.
To complete activation, make sure you enable autofill. You’ll see a list of apps that can autofill passwords.
- For Android devices:
Select "Password Manager," then the device will prompt you to confirm that you trust the app. Click "OK." Enter the PIN you chose earlier to confirm the action and then your installation is complete. - For Apple devices:
Open settings, scroll down, and click "Passwords." From there click "AutoFill Passwords," then switch it to the "ON" position. Finally, select AIP Password Manager in the "ALLOW FILLING FROM" list.
