How do mobile scam alerts work?

Mobile scam alerts are included in the AIP Device Security app for Android and iOS. These alerts warn you when links in texts, notifications, or calendar invites may be dangerous before you open them, helping reduce your risk of scams. The feature also monitors SMS and social media chats on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, and Discord, filters harmful messages, and scans calendar invites on iOS for suspicious links.

To access or turn on mobile scam alerts, open the AIP Device Security app and select Scam Alert under the Services Overview section.
